It’s my pleasure to welcome you all to Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science and Technology University established as the 44 th public university of Bangladesh. The university is established on 28 November 2017. The University is named to a noble person who herself and her family members have not only served but also sacrificed their lives for our nation. Though a new university yet after the appointment of its founder Vice Chancellor in November 2018, all the team members are working hard to build this university where creation of knowledge to build a modern society and research for the development of the country will be the main objective. The university started with four faculties and four departments with 130 students, but from the day one it has maintained the standard of quality education for the academic excellence and will continue enhancing the excellence day by day. As the Vice Chancellor, I hope all the members including students of this institution will disperse the ideology of Bangabandhu and Bangamata.
